Supervisory bodies

A jury made up of five members chosen by the Joint Committee for a two-year term is responsible for evaluating the artistic merits of projects submitted for funding.

For funding applications in 2010, 2011 and 2012, the jury members are: Sigrid Gareis, Dr. Dirk Luckow, Peter Riegelbauer, Barbara Sichtermann, Dr. Mark Terkessidis, Christine Wahl.

 

The Fund’s curator prepares the decisions of the Joint Committee, chairs the jury and attends its meetings as a non-voting member. The curator reports the jury’s recommendations to the Joint Committee and may present his/her own if desired.

 

Funding decisions are made by the Joint Committee for the Capital Cultural Fund in Berlin, which consists of two federal representatives and two representatives of the Berlin Senate.

The curator of the Capital Cultural Fund in Berlin from April 1 2010 until 31 March 2012 and again form April 2012 until March 2014 is Hans Helmut Prinzler.
